colourful dreams in a grey world

Ahh, yesterday I was sitting in my room and being kinda frustrated that there's such great wather, a long weekend and I didn't have anything to do, until my cousin phoned. We didn't talk for very long, since the connection was bad and she had tro drive her car away, so she hang up with a "I'll call you right back".
One and a half hour later I was going all, "Wait... didn't she want to call again?" So I phoned her, and, just as I thought, she had forgotten about it, too ¦D *dorks*
Me: So, any particular reason why you called?
She: Nah, not really... what are you doing right now?
- Eh, being bored...
- I'm about to go do some sword fight training with a few friends.
- Sword fight?
- Yeah, one of them is a Middle Ages fanatic and does that show fighting... He and his girlfriend are actually living only a street away from you... Wanna come along?
- Uh... sure, why not...

And so I went off to my very first, very spontaneous lesson in sword fighting :D

We kept at it for a bit until it got dark and then made a small camp fire, marshmellows included x)
And we decided to train regularly now in the small group we made :D

So, seems I found myself a new spare time activity~ x3

So, last weekend I was on another live action roleplay.

It was again one based on the Potter-verse, but this time it played at an original German school called Wisgard and during the current year, meaning post-Voldemort.

You could tell that the organisators put quite a lot of effort into the LARP. For example, every single character was involved in an own mini-plot created by the play leaders (or whatever you call it in english) and I was quite pleasantly surprised to get a letter from my in-time penpal from Hogwarts during brunch *0*~ There were even some Hello Kitty hair-clips with the letter ♥ *Elizabeth had quite a Muggle foible*

Ahh, it was a lot fun~

I got a new mobile phone~ x) And even one with a good camera, so now I'm able to record spontaneous moments of dorkiness :D (and believe me, there are a lot of them...)
Like two days ago, when I was window shopping with daeviliges. We were at a store seing a stand of sunglasses, which basically screamed for it...

Yesterday I finished watching Witch Hunter Robin, and I've been completely absorbed by this anime :0
I really liked the storyline and simply loved the whole atmosphere ♥ ...Now I feel like doing a pseudo Robin cosplay on Carnival-thursday at school 8D;; *will think about it*

Oh, btw, if anyone happens to know a well written Harry Potter/Witch Hunter Robin crossover fanfic, PLEASE let me know about it, yes? *0*/) *puppy eyes*

I found some blank X-mas cards left from last year and decided to send them to those people whose addresses I could still find from last year. So don't be surprised if you'll find an ominous x-mas card in your mailbox :D (and don't be surprised if the front-motifs are similar or even the same lol as last year's 8D; )

At everyone else: sorry for not participating in the bigger affair this year, I just didn't have the time and motivation to fill out and draw on so many cards. Maybe I'll do it again next year.

What else to say... in the last few days I royally failed some tests/exams at school, haha~
Oh well, who cares about maths anyway ☆

And Sunday I also royally messed up in what could have been a good chance.
Ah well~

I still don't have a single christmas present.
And I don't have the money to buy something bigger or many present and no ideas as for what I could make by myself.
This year's christmas sucks.

It's so cold here lately, yet there hasn't been a single snowflake so far. That's not nice :(
And I think I've caught a cold *has been sneezing like hell all day* *sniffs*
And right now my left eye is watering like stupid after I sneezed, while the right is completely dry - I'm a freak °_°;

I still haven't been that much around my journals ._. Only reading my LJ f-list, but not commenting all that much.
And my drawing mood isn't really back either.
And I'm missing school quite often again, which has aleady brought some bad attention to the teachers (haven't visited any doctor yet, though...).
And I have no idea what to do about christmas presents. I wish so much to give at least the closest people around me something, but I have no idea what I could give...
And I'm afraid of going to the trial in January all alone. I want to be able to go there by myself, give my testimony and look him in the eyes. I wish to. But I'm so very scared of losing my nerv and showing weakness... Well, no use in racking my brain about it, since no one seems to have time on that date and I'll have to get through it alone anyway. I just have to.
And all those growing self doubts and fading self-confidence... I wanted to give energy, not be an additional weight.
I'm starting to lose the ground under my feet yet again.

Me = fail.

*sigh*...I really haven't been the best LJ/IJ-friend lately ._.
I'm sorry for my lack of commenting m(_ _)m I've been kinda busy...

Last weekend there was open house at our school, which we had to attend >_> *mourns the lost free time*
So, basically we were just sitting around and painting/drawing/crafting, while people lurked around and watched as at work. ...Have I ever mentioned before, that I don't like people watching me over my shoulder while I draw/paint? >_>; Ah well, never mind.
